Hi, I’m Basha—extroverted homebody, layout enthusiast, and the founder of Nomi Design. I’ve always believed that home should be the place you want to be, not just where you drop your keys. My love for design started young, in my family’s baby and teen furniture store in Wilmington, Delaware. By day, I was all about customer service and sales. But after hours? That’s when the real fun began—music on, sleeves rolled up, and the showroom transformed.

Fast forward 25 years in non-profit leadership (yes, I’ve wrangled both floor plans and board meetings), and I still couldn’t shake my obsession with color, pattern, and creating spaces that just feel right. What started as helping friends and family turned into a full-blown design business—and in 2023, Nomi Design was born. Named after my two daughters, Noa and Mira, it’s built around the idea that good design doesn’t have to be fussy or formal. I offer collaborative, advice-based consultations with optional à la carte design services, because sometimes you just need a little help getting unstuck—and sometimes you need someone to take the wheel.
